  2. Site aspect – Which direction will your house face?
  3. Developer’s Covenants – most sections come with developer’s restrictive covenants which may affect your design. For example, minimum roof pitch 28°; single storey only; fence requirement.
  4. Council/District zoning requirement – density/building coverage; restricted activity.
